我在另外一篇文章中討論了如何評斷經濟學者的研究論文發表的好壞，我們就舉台灣本土兩位目前最有名的經濟學家為例來看看他們是那個等級的＂咖＂。這篇文章的目的之一是希望讀者能體認到不是所有教授都是你想像中的＂專家＂。在台灣的經濟學界跟商學界能在國際上發表到好期刊的教授其實並不多。以後如果你看到不分藍綠有任何教授當官或是在報紙上發表評論，你都可以用類似的方法去看看那個教授的研究做的如何？他在學術界是被認可的專家嗎？台大或是中研院有很多論文發表很好讓人尊敬的真專家，也有很多博士畢業後就偶爾勉強擠一點時間出來做一點學術研究的假學者。假學者說的不一定有錯，但是假學者不能算是一般民眾心中想的專家。假學者的發言不見得比銀行分析師，財經記者，財金名嘴，政治人物說的正確多少。

經濟商學的學術期刊分等詳見　如何評斷經濟學商學教授的研究成果?　簡單說，國科會的論文分等可以在以下連結找到　經濟學國際學術期刊分等表及其與國內期刊之對應關係（附件二)。 相關表格我會貼在文章的最後給大家參考。這份分類不是唯一的分類。比方我任職的新加坡國立大學也有類似的分類。我挑這份是希望有個大家可以查證的期刊分類。

先跳到結論，我直接先給大家看評比結果如下。

首先來看看朱敬一院士。 朱敬一院士可以算是本土經濟學家中論文發表最好最優秀的學者。 台灣還有很多其他在國外大學任教的經濟學家論文發表很好。 但是就像我前文討論的，能在台灣論文發表跟國外一樣好的話更讓人尊敬。

朱敬一院士１９８５年自名校排名前十的密西根大學取得博士學位後返台大經濟系擔任教授。

朱院士的論文發表相當可觀。 根據上面的網址一共有87篇期刊論文與書本章節發表，其中含３２篇中文論文。 中文論文在國際上是比較不被計算的。 其他55篇光看就眼睛花了。 我大略數一下Ａ＋的期刊數量是13篇，如果有誤差請見諒。 其他Ｂ與Ａ期刊的量約２０篇之多。 加上先前我提過的在台灣做研究不易，13篇應該是本土學者的歷史紀錄吧？ 這怎麼看都是Ａ＋頂級學者的論文發表。 朱院士不愧為台灣本土年輕經濟學者的榜樣。

我們再來看看現任台灣大學經濟系系主任鄭秀玲的論文發表狀況。 她的論文發表是取自她的個人網頁與履歷

這兩份的論文發表成果一樣。 我的分析就是參考她自己的履歷。 當然如果她有論文發表沒有列出來，她的論文成果就會被低估。 換言之，以下對照可以說是客觀的評比朱敬一的履歷ＰＫ鄭秀玲的履歷。
鄭秀玲教授１９８７年畢業於排名約５０名的Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute。 這與朱敬一院士的１９８５年相近所以兩人比較很合理。 鄭教授一直到１９９２年才返台大經濟系任教。 博士畢業後將約２５年來她一共發表了２３篇期刊論文，五篇書本的章節文章與一本大學生用的課本。 ２３篇期刊論文中有１２篇是中文只有１１篇是英文。　比起朱敬一院士的論文讓我眼花撩亂，要算鄭教授的論文發表真可以說是一目瞭然。　其實鄭主任也只有１１篇英文期刊論文，就閉著眼睛當她有１１篇Ａ＋好了她還是輸朱院士兩篇。 ＰＫ賽還是進行下去看看會發生什麼事情，鄭秀玲的１１篇論文中，如果我們參考國科會的期刊分類，其中只有兩篇是Ｂ級期刊 (Contemporary Economic Policy and Economics Letters)。　其他有四篇是連Ｃ級期刊都不算的unranked. 不過客觀而言，Information Economics and Policy 不是很差的期刊，可以同意多算一篇Ｂ。　此外，鄭教授還有５篇Scientometrics。　這本期刊我從來沒聽過。　ＧＯＯＧＬＥ半天也只知道這不是商學經濟學的期刊。　起碼客觀來說這不是公認經濟學ＡＢＣ級期刊。　也許在某個奇奇怪怪的學術領域這是本Ｂ期刊？好吧，目前ＰＫ結果實在太難看了，就算那５篇都是Ｂ期刊好了。　我們評比的結果是朱院士Ａ＋的期刊都比鄭主任的Ｂ期刊多多了。　兩位知名學者的學術論文發表這麼懸殊，讓人不禁好奇鄭秀玲系主任一天到底花多少時間在做研究上？

所以評比完了，花了２７年只發３篇Ｂ論文的學者要算什麼咖呢？更奇怪的是台大經濟系不少年輕學者就已經有３－５篇Ａ級以上的論文發表，為什麼台大經濟系要讓連Ｂ咖都不算的學者當系主任呢？我是真的不知道答案。
